Great site...Great photos..must be a great place!

We stayed in Katalagary Country Suites from May 30th until June 13th 2010. After a warm welcome by René with a drink and biscuits, we went to our apartment. A beautiful large and nicely decorated apartment with jacuzzi. Here, we immediately felt at home. The prospect on the Peza Valley is great and it was a pleasure to rest on the balcony at the end of the day enjoying a glass of wine. This is certainly a place where people can come to rest. Away from the noise of Iraklio, but only three quarters of an hour drive away from the beach. We have enjoyed the breakfast and dinners which were prepared by the great chef Stefania, René and Evangelia. All organic vegetables and herbs are from own garden and you can taste that ! All meals were prepared with love. Ask Stefania and René 's advice if you're looking for nice places. Thanks to René we visited two nice fisherman villages (Georgeopouli and Mochlos) where we have eaten lovely fresh fish. This was our first visit to Crete and we have enjoyed the beautiful nature and the friendliness of the Kretenzer people. We will certainly come back to see more of this beautiful island and a visit to Katalagari Country Suites again is high on our list.
