Our restaurant specializes in Cretan traditional cuisine, dedicated to the preservation and revival of authentic Cretan home cooking methods and specialities – characterized by the probably world’s most healthy cooking technique: The Mediterranean Diet.
Hereby are we empathizing on vegetables, fruits, fish, poultry and olive oil, whole grains, legumes, nuts and use herbs and spices instead of salt to flavour our culinary creations.
By using only fresh and locally produced ingredients, our chefs create a mix of classic dishes, including fresh grilled fish, chicken and pork, roasted in the wood-fired oven often with surprisingly exotic twists such as marinating it with kumquat, orange juice and white wine.
We are cooking only with our own or local produce from nearby farms. Our particular focus is on fresh and healthy ingredients such as seasonal vegetables and fruits which we grow in our own garden or our home-made Cretan extra virgin olive oil and house wine.
All our products are produced with loving care and devotion and of course, pure organic.
